一、从被窝里爬出来 crawl out of bed
Crawling out of bed on a damp October morning, in my small shared room in the Foreign Students’ Building of Sichuan University.
湿气弥漫的十月早晨，四川大学留学生楼与别人合住的小房间里，我从被窝里爬出来。
这是本书第一章的第一句话，可我发现这句话没有主语诶。
正常的表达是：
I crawled out of bed on a damp October morning, in my small shared room in the Foreign Students’ Building of Sichuan University.
查了一下这样的独立分词结构在文学或非正式写作中是常见的，并不一定算语病。
记忆点 crawl & crab
crawl 可以和 crab（螃蟹）建立联想，想一想螃蟹的运动姿态，就记住了。
crawl原意是“爬”，主语当然是指有活动能力的人或动物。
但是，同 swarm 之类的动词相似，crawl 也可以以“场所”为主语，“爬”的动物用 with 引入，表示该场所到处有许多这些动物在爬来爬去。
下面的句子就很有画面感了，用crawl形容人体有微生物🦠很多：

My Italian roommate, Filomena, is already up and out. Sleepily, I pull on a padded jacket and look out of the window. As usual, the sky is a muffled grey (”Sichuanese dogs bark” – in surprise – “at the sun’”, goes the old saying).
